You can’t make someone love you. Either they do or they don’t.
You can’t make someone notice you. Either they will or they won’t.
You can’t make someone care. Either they do or they don’t.
It probably shouldn’t matter. I probably shouldn’t care.
I just thought there was some connection between us and that it meant I wasn’t alone. But the connection has been severed, the illusion has been shattered and here I am.
I don’t want to be alone. But I guess I am.
