Who am I to you?
It was a fairly innocent question, with an equally innocent response.
Hey, who is the friend you invited?
A pen pal.
As much as I would like to pretend, even that bothered me. I’m a “pen pal,” I thought.
I guess the question lingered around in my psyche. “Who am I to you?” I wondered quietly.
Then the person who described me as their pen pal, continued to tell me things. Things I didn’t care to know, to be honest. Things that confirmed my status as their pen pal… and nothing more.
By rights it shouldn’t bother me. But it does. It really really does.

You are someone that I should probably try to get to know a lot better. However I am really lazy when it comes to one to one relationships with people. I feel as though you think that I don’t like you or something, there is a coldness I sometimes sense. I dunno, I’m an idiot lol
I can tell you need to express more frecuently your feeling to your belove ones. Try it and then you’ll have inner peace.
