hahaha… no, you don’t get away THAT easy!!!
To be honest, I haven’t “tried” to turn anyone onto KEEL. I’ve lent a copy of The Mothman Prophecies to a couple of friends. One was so freaked out at the contents of the book, we don’t speak of it again. The other, well he was in Italy at the time, learning Italian… so I found a copy translate into Italian. Although, as it happens, “ultraterrestrial” is a surprisingly difficult word in Italian. Who knew?
I haven’t examined the particular website you have linked me to with a particularly critical eye. Frankly, I haven’t had the time.
I’m not entirely sure what you are insinuating about John A. Keel. That he is actually a vampire who writes literature on paranormal topics in order to distract people from the vampire conspiracy?
Oh, you know what this means… Keel himself is actually the cosmic mechanism from which all human belief and inexplicable manifestations stem!
To be honest, I’m not a cultist, I’m not a conspiracy theorist, I’m not even that interested in the paranormal. I am just an avid reader. I enjoy the ideas (and execution of those ideas in written form) that Keel presents. My experience of him has been of a man with a rich life experience and deep and personable sense of humour. Of course its not for everybody. Infact I’d suggest there is only a very small percentage of the population who would even appreciate it. But it is for me, I’ve decided.
