Music For Relief

A bunch of artists – including Peter Gabriel, Alanis Morissette and Slash – have released music to support the efforts in Haiti. Basically you download the music for free and then make a donation.

It was really wonderful to hear Beth Hart lending her vocals to Slash’s contribution to the effort (I had been wondering recently what became of her).

Check out Music For Relief for more information.

  1. It is so uplifting when artists (whether visual or performing arts) used their talents/skills and put it towards a worthwhile cause. Even though most “celebrities” would lend their name/face to a cause, very few would take their time out and be actively involved (like tailoring their creations to voice a message of their cause eg. song or participate in workshops to find out more about the cause and how better to promote to the community)

Thanks for allowing me to have a platform to voice my opinion and to let the readers know more about Music Relief, I shall donate soon and download some quality music.
