I can relate to the wharf/freeway thing, as I have some lovely temples and parks right in the big city. You may never want to return to the work force, but I found myself wanting more IRL contact, since most of my business was conducted online. I still think a trip would do you good. Not necessarily a world wide adventure, but at least a weekend get away to someplace new to put the distractions of everyday life away.
